More about the Iran nuclear deal…

Lawrence Wilkerson, who was Colin Powell’s chief of staff, argues that those who claim we can simply reimpose sanctions are ignoring reality.
“Rejection [of the Iran nuclear deal] means the U.S. is alone. No one else, not even Britain, will follow us. We will be acting entirely unilaterally, without friends or allies (with the exception of Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu). And those who claim that we can simply return to sanctions are hopelessly blind to reality. No one will be with us – absolutely no one. The sanctions will be unilateral and even more feckless than they were before diplomacy achieved comprehensive participation in them. We will be the isolated state.”

Not really sure what to make about the Parchin story

Further to my previous post about the Parchin nuclear site …
This article from Vox argues that the AP’s article about the Parchin nuclear site has “distorted” a “mild and widely anticipated compromise on a single set of inspections to a single, long-dormant site” into “something that sounds much worse, but actually isn't.”

A disturbing development regarding the Iran nuclear deal

The Associated Press reports about a disturbing development regarding the Iran nuclear deal:
“Iran will be allowed to use its own inspectors to investigate a site [Parchin] it has been accused of using to develop nuclear arms, operating under a secret agreement with the U.N. agency that normally carries out such work.”
